About this course

GCC food businesses run in extreme heat, serve multinational teams and rely heavily on imported food. Each of the six states enforces its own food law, while Gulf (GSO) standards set a shared baseline, and supervisors sit at the point where all of this meets daily practice. This SkillCert Specialist course trains you to apply that system on shift. You will work through the regulators and frameworks of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, the hazards behind GCC food poisoning, temperature control in a hot climate, hygiene and premises, halal integrity, labelling, suppliers and incidents. It closes with the daily checks, records and inspection readiness that keep a site compliant. Every module uses workplace scenarios from GCC kitchens, retail and production sites, and you finish with a supervisor toolkit you can use at work.
